Club Regatta

A number of boats turned up to compete for the Club Regatta. There were four races with one discard, sailed in a tricky north easterly wind. Two races in the morning were won by James H. The Wanderer and the Enterprise had a bit of a coming together. A window in the foresail of the Wanderer might help avoid such blindspots in the future.

New member Maggie arrived at lunchtime and went for a paddle on her SUP in the afternoon. Perhaps the most notable part of the day was when Maggie accessed the internet from the safety office and registered her application to join the club. This must be a first!

Mark M and Calum G joined in the racing in the afternoon and had a good battle at the head of the fleet. Richard H got around the course but was a bit groggy after a disagreement with his boom!
