Family Sail weekend

This weekend saw our first family sail weekend of the season. In spite of the cold and in some cases bizarre weather conditions (sunny and clear one minute to snowing the next) the adult and child learners made excellent progress well beyond the skills required to gain a stage or level one. The instructors were very impressed with the sailing skills developed over the weekend and hope that the learners will continue with the club to become really great sailors. More importantly participants also said they had really enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to sailing again (hopefully in slightly warmer conditions).
Sunday also saw a good number of club members join the beginners on the lake. It was great to see the shore full again with boats launching and the lake being the busy vibrant place we missed during lock-downs
