RYA Dinghy Level 3 'Better Sailing' Course Provisional

The course provides the opportunity to practise existing sailing techniques, and experience some of the activities that the advanced modules have to offer. You will learn how to sail using efficient and skilful application of the Five Essentials. You should be able to tack maintaining boat speed and balance. The core skills of launching and recovery, man overboard and capsize drills should be efficiently and effectively performed. Taster sessions will give course participants a chance to experience two of Seamanship skills, Race skills, Spinnaker sailing skills and Performance sailing. On successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate to go in your logbook.
