We had a drone up at the club last Sunday and it got some great shots of Grassholme from the air, hopefully we will be able to do a re run next season on a sunny day with boats out on the lake.

Once again huge thanks to everyone at the work party today. Huge amount achieved and its looking very tidy for the end of the season. I think James's chainsaw only stopped during the day to get refuelled or sharpened with a team constantly doing tip runs to clear the brash or top up the log store. The top shed has been cleared with hundreds of trips up and down the hill. We have put some

Huge thanks to everyone that turned up today to help. All of the critical jobs have been completed including getting buoys and safety boats off the water, all club boats secured, everywhere cleaned down, relocated the tools and work bench into the lower shed and grass cutting done. After a difficult 2020 the club has made significant improvements to it's facilities, increased on water participation, and bought new junior boats. We have offered more training and recruited more members. As a result the RYA and Yachts & Yachting magazine have selected Teesdale SWC as a finalist in their 2022 Club of the Year Awards. Please take time to vote for us.

It was great to see a good part of the fleet was made up with juniors and sailors who have only started sailing this year through our RYA training courses.

The inaugural Kirkcarrion Cup competition for double handed boats took place on Sunday. Five boats made the long trek to the water, and despite light winds managed to complete a series of three races. One of the aims of the competition is to get sailors who do normally sail single handers to get into larger boats and work together as a team, and this certainly happened in two of the boats where young
